Mary Louise Roemer Dworaczyk, 80, of Falls City, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011, in San Antonio. She was born to Pete and Eleanora Roemer on Jan. 18, 1931, in Floresville.

She married Sylvester Dworaczyk Jr. on Sept. 27, 1952, in Falls City. She attended Mary Hardin-Baylor, where she received her degree in teaching. She was a retired schoolteacher and worked for the Falls City Independent School District for 38 years. She loved playing bunco, reading, and garage sale shopping.

Mary Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Sylvester Dworaczyk Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Hosek and husband Carl of Poth and Paula Lyssy and husband Duane of Falls City; her brother, John Roemer and wife Ellen of Floresville; her sister, Nora Jean Bender; grandchildren Hannah Nicole Lyssy and Braden Michael Lyssy, both of Falls City; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A rosary was recited Tuesday, July 12, at 7 p.m. in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Falls City.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the church.

Interment followed in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Falls City.

Serving as pallbearers were Larry Moczygemba, Joe Moczygemba, Mike Moczygemba, Ryan Moczygemba, Gary Dworaczyk, and Kevin Dworaczyk.
