FLORESVILLE -- Authorities are reaching out to the public for information relating to an incident in which approximately 10 road signs were knocked down in the Shannon Ridge residential subdivision north of here. All of the signs that were toppled during the overnight hours between July 26 and 27, were located on Shannon Ridge Drive, said Wilson County Pct. 4 Commissioner Larry Wiley.

Early morning commuters began noticing the downed street signs and road signs along the approximately 4-1/2-mile long road, prompting them to contact Wiley and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office. Wiley dispatched workers to the area to fix the signs, which he said appear to have been driven over.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 830-393-2535 or Crime Stoppers of Wilson County at 830-393-INFO (4636).
