Lonnie and Cissy Payne of Canyon Lake, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Leslie, to Clayton Rogers of Mill Valley, Calif. Clayton is the son of Sam and Ida Rogers of Nixon.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Smithson Valley High School in Spring Branch.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Nixon-Smiley High School.

Leslie and Clayton are both 2010 graduates of Howard Payne University in Brownwood. They are currently attending the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, Calif., each in pursuit of a Master of Divinity degree.

The couple plan to wed Saturday, July 30, 2011, in the First Baptist Church in Canyon Lake.
