Bob and Pat Brandt were married 50 years ago on July 15, 1961, in St. Benedicts Catholic Church.

Their children, Robert Jr. and wife Judy, Michael and wife Debbie, Lorne and wife Michelle, and Whitney Mahlmann and husband Matt, hosted a 50-year anniversary party on July 16 in the Knights of Columbus Hall on U.S. 87.

The party consisted of a renewal of their vows, a dinner, and a dance.

More than 200 people helped Bob and Pat celebrate this joyous occasion. A ceremony for the renewal of Bob and Pat’s vows was the highlight of the party.

Leading the procession for the ceremony as flower girls were their granddaughters, Sarah and Lucy Mahlmann and Kambrie Brandt, with grandson Christopher Mahlmann as the ring bearer.

The groom of 50 years, Bob Brandt, was escorted by granddaughters Rebecca and Rachel Brandt. Escorting the bride of 50 years, Pat Brandt, were grandsons Gage and Garret Brandt.

Bob and Pat would like to thank everyone for helping them celebrate this wonderful occasion and tell them thank you for being such a very special part of their lives throughout the years. “May God bless all of you and keep you safe in your life’s journey,” said the happy couple.
