Tristan Summy of La Vernia graduated from Buckskin Brigades Camp held June 5-9 at the Southern Star Ranch in La Pryor, Texas. This is Tristan’s second camp with the Texas Brigades Program. He will be returning to Bass Brigade Camp at the Warren Ranch in Brownwood as an assistant leader in July. Texas Brigades is a co-ed wildlife leadership program for youth 13-17 years of age. Cadets learn about wildlife, leadership, and conservation. Camps are conducted by volunteers from various government and nonprofit agencies, organizations, and individuals. Scholarships are available.

For more information, call Tristan Summy at 830-779-1035 or Helen Holdsworth at 855-TXBRIGS or 210-556-1391.
