The staff and students of Floresville High School invite all incoming freshmen to the Link Crew Freshman Orientation on Friday, Aug. 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Floresville High School North Campus Gymnasium, located off S.H. 97 East in Floresville.

Link Crew is a nationally known program that “links” successful juniors and seniors with groups of freshmen to assist with the transition from middle school to high school.

Incoming freshmen who attend the orientation will be assigned a leader who will work with them at orientation and be available throughout the school year for guidance and support. Leaders will plan social and academic meetings with their freshmen throughout the school year.

Freshmen will be given an opportunity to pick up their schedules, get photo IDs taken, and take a tour of the campus. Students should dress comfortably with gym-appropriate shoes.

For more information, contact Link Crew Coordinators Leann Drozd at 830-393-5370; Amy Carter at; or Mike McReynolds at
