1929-2011

Walton A. Rehfeld went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the age of 82. He was born on May 21, 1929, in Floresville, Texas, to Walter and Emma Rehfeld.

He will best be remembered for being one of the train operators at Fiesta Texas for more than 15 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.

Walton is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ida May Rehfeld; his daughters, Debbie Morgan and husband Rick, Laurie Petty and husband Billy, and Teresa Rehfeld; his sons, Vaughn Rehfeld and wife Becky and Michael Rehfeld and wife Susan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other loving family members and friends.

A visitation was held on Friday, July 29, from 5-9 p.m. in the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South in San Antonio.

A funeral service was held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio.
