Anita Rodriguez Casillas, 63, passed into our Lord’s hands on Tuesday, July 26, 2011.

She is survived by her mother, Kathryne Rodriguez; her brothers, Andrew, Alvin, Albert, and Michael Rodriguez; her sisters, Alice Segrest, Allene Deen, Ann Lutz, Adriane Twaddle, Patricia Byrne, Beverly Thomas, Teresa Horton, and Janet Vrzalik; her children, Lea Reedy, Celina Whisler and husband Scott, Luke Casillas and wife Rosie, and Mark Casillas; and 10 grandchildren.

A rosary was recited on Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m. in the Mission Park South Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf. Interment followed in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Elmendorf.

Memorials may be made to the Dare to Love Sponsorship Program, 3635 S.E. Military Drive, San Antonio, TX 78223.
