Judy Donnell Hedtke, 69, of Karnes City, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011. She was born in Kenedy Dec. 23, 1941, to Beulah Sanders and Tom Donnell Jr.

Judy was an LVN in Kenedy for many years. She loved nursing and especially loved her patients.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Vickie Lynn Hedtke; and her sister, Fay Rathmell.

Judy is survived by her husband, Allen Hedtke; her sister, Ellen Audilet and husband Willie; her brothers, Charles Donnell and wife Eunice, R.V. Donnell, Gene Donnell and wife Donna, and Tommy Kenneth Donnell.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, Aug. 2, from 6-8 p.m. in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel in Kenedy.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenedy.

Interment will be in the New Bremen Cemetery in Kenedy.

Pallbearers will be Wade Hedtke, Scottie Audilet, Randy Mills, Shane Grayson, Terry Seeger, and Jerry Seeger. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Hedtke, Ethan Chesser, Rodney Chesser, William Chesser, and Russell Chesser.
