The La Vernia Primary School will host its Back to School/Meet the Teacher event on Monday, Aug. 15, for second grade; Tuesday for first grade; and Thursday for kindergarten. All grade levels will meet from 5-6 p.m. in the primary school cafeteria.

Students will receive the name of their teacher and can visit their classrooms. Students are welcome to take their school supplies.

Those who are new to La Vernia are invited to attend the Newcomers Fair on Thursday, Aug. 4, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the La Vernia Independent School District Auditorium.
