ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., a Springdale, Ark. establishment, is recalling approximately 36 million pounds of ground turkey products that may be contaminated with a multi-drug-resistant strain of Salmonella Heidelberg, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced Aug. 3.

The products subject to recall include the following brands:

•Ground turkey chubs --use or freeze by dates of Feb. 20 through Aug. 23 -- including Honeysuckle, Riverside, Natural Lean, and H-E-B

•85 percent ground turkey -- use or freeze by dates of Feb. 20 through Aug. 23 --Honeysuckle, Kroger, and Safeway

•93 percent ground turkey -- use or freeze dates of Feb. 20 through Aug. 23 -- Honeysuckle, Fit & Active, Giant Eagle, and Kroger

•Ground patties -- use or freeze by Feb. 20 and Aug. 23 -- Honeysuckle Kroger, and Shady Brook Farms

•Frozen ground turkey -- Honeysuckle and Spartan.

These products were distributed at the retail level nationwide. Cargill Meat Solutions Corp. requests that consumers who may have purchased these products return them to the point-of-purchase. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the Food Safety and Inspection Service’s website at www.fsis.usda.gov/FSIS_Recalls/
