Sarah Ann Pawlik and Daryl Wayne Ransleben were united in marriage on Saturday, June 11, 2011, in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas. Father Eddie Bernal and Deacon Jim Rasso performed the ceremony. Abigale Baylor served as altar server. Music was provided by Regina Gray and the St. Benedict’s Choir.

The bride, the daughter of Tom and Bridget Pawlik of San Antonio, is the granddaughter of Cecelia Padalecki of San Antonio and the late Thomas Padalecki, and Theresa and Edward Pawlik Sr.

The groom, the son of David Ransleben of San Antonio and the late Alice Ransleben, is the grandson of Norma Kraus of San Antonio and the late Louis Kraus, and Henry and Mildred Ransleben.

The matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Angela Ferrell of La Vernia. Her bridesmaids included Janell Lange of Floresville, friend of the bride; Kayla Kerr of Somerset, niece of the groom; and Heather Ransleben of San Antonio, sister-in-law of the groom. Serving as flower girls were Katelyn Padalecki of China Grove, cousin of the bride; Madison Rylander of San Antonio, great-niece of the groom; and Riley Ransleben of San Antonio, niece of the groom.

The best man was the twin brother of the groom, Daniel Ransleben of San Antonio. His groomsmen were Christopher Ferrell of La Vernia, brother-in-law of the bride; Joseph Pawlik of College Station, brother of the bride; and Chris Niemietz of Schertz, friend of the groom. The bride’s nephew, Bryce Ferrell of La Vernia, served as ring bearer.

Serving as ushers were the groom’s nephews, Brandon Kerr of Somerset, Michael Rylander of Pickerington, Ohio, and David Frazier and Aaron Rylander, both of San Antonio.

The offertory gifts were presented by the couple’s godparents, Nelson Padalecki of Adkins, and Dorothy Pawlik, Larry Klar, and Florence Vacek, all of San Antonio.

A beach theme reception, dinner, and dance followed in the American Legion Hall Post 539 in St. Hedwig. The guests enjoyed the Polish tradition of the Dajcie Dajcie, the Polish and German tradition of the Dollar Dance, and the Grand March.

After a honeymoon in South Padre Island, the couple will reside in Adkins.
