Frontline Youth of the First Baptist Church in La Vernia will host a Back to School Rally on Wednesday, Aug. 24, open to all students.

Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. The service will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The church’s youth praise band, “Sake of Twenty,” will lead worship, along with Jeff Parker.

The featured speaker at the event will be Kacy Benson. Kacy is an amazing communicator from Austin. He travels and speaks to youth all over the country and has an amazing ability to hold their attention. He has an amazing story of coming out of an abusive family and allowing God to use him. The event will include other fun activities immediately after school.

“We would love to see as many people at this event as possible,” said Youth Pastor Randy McDaris. “It is of course open to the football team, volleyball team, and band. The church will also have an amazing night for the children, as well.” Contact McDaris at 830-253-1239.
