Beverly Irwin Barrett of Placedo, Texas, and formerly of Stockdale, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at the age of 50.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Virginia J. Barrett.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Barrett; her children, Stacie Scheel and husband Jason of Stockdale and Gary Barrett and wife Candice of Killeen; her grandson, Noah Barrett of Killeen; her parents, Gary Irwin and wife Dorothy of Stockdale; her sisters, Susan Washburn and husband Gerald of Sutherland Springs and Kimberly Irwin of San Antonio; her brother, Gary Irwin Jr. and wife Nancie of Brazoria; and her mother- and father-in-law, George Barrett and wife Ruby of Belton.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Aug. 13, at 3 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church in Stockdale with the Rev. Dale Frankum officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 301, Stockdale, TX 78160.
