ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Angelita M. Navarro, 87, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011. She was born March 30, 1924.

She was a loving, kind, and giving person and strong in the Catholic faith. She will be greatly missed by all and continue to live in the hearts of those who love her, said her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose G. Navarro; and her daughter, Yolanda N. Gonzales.

Angelita is survived by her children, Mary O. Gutierrez and husband Joe, Antonio M. Navarro and wife Susan, and Sylvia N. Zuniga and husband Hector; and her grandchildren, Alyna, Lillyana, and Xavier.

A visitation was held on Monday, Aug. 15, from 6-9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. in the Castle Ridge Mortuary in San Antonio, Texas.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Holy Family Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the San Fernando Cemetery No. 2 in San Antonio.
