ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Stella M. Foerster, 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011. She was born on July 11, 1929, in Floresville, Texas, to Leo and Stella Zahn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Leo Zahn; her sister, Annie Tkadlec; her grandson, Clifton Mokry; and her loving husband, Joe Foerster in 2006.

Stella is survived by her five children, Jo Ann Wiatrek and husband Edmond Wiatrek Jr., Bobby Foerster and wife Mildred, Ronnie Foerster, Shirley Mokry and husband John, and Dee Dee Wiatrek and husband Fabian; five sisters, Adele Felux, Rose Polasek, Mary Fischer, Bertha Walpole, and Dorothy Sugarek; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 4-9 p.m. in the Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Antonio with Father Eddie Bernal as celebrant.

Interment will follow in the St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.
