Drama Club President

It is a brand new school year and the Floresville High School Theatre department is wasting no time for an introduction!

The department has expanded and now offers Theatre Arts I, II, and III. Kate Wilson has joined, teaching and directing with Tiffany K. Polasek.

The Drama Club will have its first meeting on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 8 a.m. in the Theater Complex building for any high school students who are interested. Dues for joining are $20, due by Sept. 9, and include a Drama Club T-shirt.

Drama Club also will be selling pullover hoodies to all who are interested. These are $25 for a plain one and $30 with personalization. Students can sign up with Ms. Polasek in her room. Community members interested in purchasing a hoodie or T-shirt can call 830-393-5370, ext. 1045, for more information. Money for hoodies is due by Sept. 9.

The first show of the year for Drama Club will be a kid-friendly show on Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Wiley Seale Auditorium at 7 p.m. Entry will be $4 at the door.

The Floresville High School Theatre Department is dedicated to serving the community, and bringing the younger and older generations of Floresville together in a way anyone can understand: Good entertainment.
