POTH -- When August comes to South Texas, a few things down here are a given. For starters, you know it’s going to be hot outside. I can also tell you that the conversations at Merlin’s Barber Shop will shift to football. Oh, and the members of the Poth Pirette volleyball team will be hard at work knocking over anyone and anything standing between them and another state championship. . . .
