Wilson County News

FLORESVILLE -- Two area residents are in custody and a third has been cited in relation to an Aug. 26 methamphetamine bust in the Alamo Apartments off U.S. 181 Business here.

A man and woman present at the residence when the search warrant was issued were arrested and each was charged with possession of 1 to 4 grams of a controlled substance in Penalty Group I. One of the apartment's occupants, identified by police as Jennifer Murillo, was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. Information about the other suspects was incomplete as of 10 p.m.

Lt. Jesse Evins of the Floresville Police Department said anonymous tipsters reported that crystallized methamphetamine, often referred to as "meth" or "ice," was being sold from the apart-ment. A search warrant was subsequently issued.
