Olga Moreno Garcia and Victor Tejeda Garcia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, by renewing their vows.

Honoring their parents on this special day will be the couple’s six children, Norma Ann Martinez, Amos Garcia, Melinda De Leon, Cynthia Sue Garza, Elva Jean Camarillo, and Ruby Lorriane Garcia; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Two special people, Geronimo and Rebecca Hernandez, who were best man and matron of honor 50 years ago, will once again be in their wedding party.

The bride of 50 years will be escorted to the altar by her son, Amos, followed by granddaughters Brianna Garza and Medeline Martinez.

Olga M. Garcia is the daughter of the late Benancio and Sarita Moreno, formerly of Saspamco. Victor is the son of Maria Tejeda Garcia and the late Secundino Garcia.

A reception and dance will follow in the Wilson County Show Barn in Floresville.

Congratulations to the couple from all their family.
