Offer condolences


Yolanda Faulk, 85, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011. She was born Feb. 5, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas, to Indalecio and Katherine Freeman Cardenas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Walter “Marvin” Faulk.

Yolanda is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Houseton and husband David, and Linda Cleveland and husband Charles; sons Kurt Smith and wife Toni, and Ralph Diaz and wife Eva; sister Rosie Martinez and husband Richard; grandchildren Kimberly Jackson and husband Brack, Kristen Huguley and husband Trey, Loren K. Smith, Scott Cleveland and wife Nicole, Lesley Castillo and husband Michael, Vincent Diaz, Jason Diaz, David Diaz, and Melissa Diaz; great-grandchildren Andrew Jason Diaz, Jaden William Diaz, Jacob Anthony Diaz, Peyton, Paige, and Parker Jackson, Jake and Josh Cleveland, Maegan Martinez and husband Sean, and Zack Castillo and wife Rachel; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 27, at 10 a.m. in the Stockdale City Cemetery in Stockdale, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
