Train-the-trainer sessions begin Sept. 9

The Learn and Share program’s “Curriculum for Parents and Grandparents” train-the-trainer sessions for improving parenting skills and supporting children’s academic success will be held Friday, Sept. 9, and Tuesday, Sept. 27, in San Antonio.

The sessions will be from 8:30-11:30 a.m. The session on Sept. 9 will be held in the Education Hall of the East Central Educational Complex, 9787 New Sulphur Springs Road. The Sept. 27 session will be in Suite 212 of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service office in Bexar County, located in Conroy Square at 3355 Cherry Ridge Drive.

The sessions will cover a number of topics and lessons, including helping with homework, summer learning, and more.

The training costs $15 and can be paid by mail, purchase order, or at the door.
