Wilson County News

Former Wilson County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Carlos Garza will serve 4 years in a state jail. This follows his Sept. 6 pleas of guilty to two counts of improper sexual activity with a person in custody.

Court records indicate that Garza accepted the plea deal prior to jury selection. After being sentenced by Judge Donna Rayes of the 81st Judicial District, he was taken into custody.

For more, read the Sept. 14 edition of the Wilson County News.

4 years, is that justice? I thought our law enforcement folks should be held to a higher standard.
