Workers from the Floresville Electric Light & Power System (FELPS) work quickly Sept. 6 to replace an insulator damaged when a squirrel made contact with a circuit just before 9:30 a.m., near the corner of Fifth and Trail streets in Floresville. FELPS Line Supervisor Paul Herrera said the incident caused a momentary blink throughout much of the system.

Spoke to one of my sources at FELPs. He doesn't want his name mentioned so we will just call him Tap Kesoh. Tap said they found a suicide note near the scene of the accident. It appears squirrel was fed up with the shenanigans... More ›
