Green Spaces Alliance of South Texas will hold its first “Picture Your World” Youth Photography Workshop of the 2011-12 season Sunday, Sept. 25, from 1-4:30 p.m.

The workshop is open to youth ages 8-18. It focuses on learning about nature and its conservation from a naturalist, and learning camera techniques and composition from a professional photographer.

Future workshop dates are Oct. 16 and 23, and Nov. 13.

Registration for each workshop is $10 for members of Green Spaces Alliance and $15 for non-members.

The workshops will be held in the San Antonio Botanical Gardens located at 555 Funston at North New Braunfels Avenue in San Antonio.
