Stefan and Stefani Petersen, members of the Eagle Creek 4-H Club, participated in the Gillespie County Fair Breeding Sheep Show Aug. 27.

Stefani’s entry won third place in the Hampshire Yearling Ram Class and third in the Hampshire Sheep Pair Class, consisting of a ram and ewe.

Of the eight ewes exhibited by Stefan and Stefani, only one failed to place in the top 10 in their class.

The Petersens spent the Labor Day weekend competing in the Kendall County Fair Livestock Show.

Stefan and Stefani, the children of Jim and Windy Petersen of Floresville, are home-schooled, essentially doing sixth- and seventh-grade work.
