The Floresville Police Department hosts a Back to B.A.S.I.C.S. (Building A Stronger Involved Community System) seminar Sept. 7 in the Lauro G. De Leon III Floresville Event Center. The program is aimed at empowering residents and business owners to take back the community. Topics covered included burglary, theft, and robbery prevention, counterfeit currency, security lighting, and reporting suspicious activity. For more information, call Fowler at 830-393-4055.
