Amy Lynn Hernandez and Guillermo G. De Hoyos are proud to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect, the daughter of Joe and Sarah Hernandez of Floresville, Texas, is a 2002 graduate of Floresville High School. Amy earned a degree in nursing in 2009 from the Baptist School of Health Professions.

Guillermo, the son of Guillermo “Willie” and Angelina De Hoyos of Poth, is a 2000 graduate of Poth High School. The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in electrical engineering.

The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Poth.
