A Fall Grasses Workshop will be held Friday, Sept. 23, from 9-11 a.m. at the Cibolo Nature Center, located at 140 City Park Road in Boerne.

Participants are encouraged to take grass samples and questions for program presenter Floyd Waller, who holds a Ph.D. in botany and plant taxonomy.

Attendees will take an easy walk to look at and learn about the many grass species at the Cibolo Nature Center and are asked to take a hat, walking shoes, and drinking water.

Cost of this workshop is $20 to $25, and is limited to 20 participants.
