Prayer groups from Sacred Heart Catholic Church invite the community to unite in prayer for the increasing need for rain in Texas.

A rosary prayer will take place today, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m., in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1007 Trail Street, Floresville. Please bring your rosary.

Matachines will also be joining the prayer session to perform a ritual dance in honor of St. Isidore (San Isidro Labrador) Patron Saint of farmers.

For those who are not in the San Antonio/Floresville area, please join Sacred Heart Parish in spirit and prayer at 7 p.m. CST/8 p.m. EST. The drought conditions in Texas and elswhere are devastating to the farmers who provide food for the country.
