1928-2011

Martha Pollok, 82, of La Vernia, Texas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011. Martha was born Dec. 6, 1928, in Pleasanton to August and Mary Ellen (Adamitz) Dugosh.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Pollok; and her son-in-law, Marshall Koepp.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Koepp of La Vernia and Sharon Brown and husband Wilson “Billy” of La Vernia; her grandchildren, Kyle Koepp and wife Brianna of Leander, Tiffany Schroller and husband Bob of La Vernia, and Jeremiah Gutz and wife Nicole of Buda; and her great-grandchildren, Baylee, Micah, and Gunner Schroller, and Colton, Mia, Caden, Mason, and Micah Koepp. Martha is also survived by her sisters, Theresa Divin of Pleasanton and Mary Morgan of Whitesboro; her brother, Alfred Dugosh of Corpus Christi; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, Sept. 28, from 4-9 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, with a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the St. Ann Catholic Church in La Vernia, with Father Stan Fiuk officiating.

Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in San Antonio.

Memorial donations may be made by way of Mass cards.
