Offer condolences

Joey Tamez, 17, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, in Stockdale, Texas. He was born May 19, 1994, to Bob and Sally Tamez.
Joey was preceded in death by his uncle, Joey Angel Tamez, and his grandfather, Raul Tamez.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Sally Tamez of Stockdale; his siblings, Casey Tamez, Tina Tamez, and Timothy Tamez, all of Stockdale; grandparents Antonio and Ella Rangel of Stockdale and Delfina Tamez Bustamante of Nixon; aunts and uncles, Tony Rangel Jr., Sylvia Aguilar, Susie Rangel, Eddie Rangel, Abel Rangel, Pres. Tamez, Rick Tamez, Nora Gaytan, and Freddy Tamez; and numerous cousins.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Stockdale Church of Christ in Stockdale, with a singing service held at 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the church with John Massie and Mark Forster officiating.
Interment will follow in the Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joey Tamez Memorial Fund in care of Robert Tamez.
