Mr. and Mrs. Alex Pollok of Floresville, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Emily Elaine, to Patrick Brian Schellinger, the son of Tommy and Maurine Schellinger of Spring.

The bride-elect graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi with a Master of Science of Counseling in Marriage and Family. She is currently employed as a case manager at Nueces County Mental Health Mental Retardation, Youth Services.

The prospective groom served in the U.S. Marine Corps, receiving an honorable discharge after six years of service. He then attended college at the University of Central Texas and currently works as a federal agent in Corpus Christi, where the couple reside.

The wedding will take place Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, in San Antonio.

The happy couple will then enjoy a honeymoon in Antigua. Both sets of parents wish them the best on their upcoming future together.
