Stacia Lamey, 16, of St. Hedwig has been selected to participate in the 2011 Miss Teen San Antonio pageant competition scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 16.

The Miss Teen division, one of four for young ladies ages 7 to 19, will include modeling routines in casual and formal wear, along with personality and interviewing skills.

She will compete for her share of prizes and specialty gifts to be distributed to contestants. The winner will represent San Antonio and the surrounding communities in the national competition in Orlando, Fla.

Area businesses and individuals may sponsor Stacia in the event.
