Members of the Wilson County Emergency Medical Services treat 57-year-old Barbara Hobbs Kucera of Victoria as members of the Floresville Volunteer Fire Department extricate her from the wreckage of her Toyota Corolla. This was after her vehicle was struck at approximately 12:45 p.m. Oct. 5 by a Ford F-350 pickup truck at the intersection of Hospital Boulevard and Third Street in Floresville. Kucera was transported via AirLife helicopter to a San Antonio hospital.
