Immanuel Lutheran Church is now hiring for a Youth and Family Ministry Director. Pastoral: Minister to youth and their families during Sunday School and other church programs, being present in their lives outside the church walls, available for common concerns and in crisis situations. Leadership: Recruit and nurture Youth and Family Ministry program. Administration : Manage the planning process and coordinate with Pastor and Youth Committee all regular ministries to youth and their families. This includes youth of all ages on Sunday mornings and mid-week events; assisting with Confirmation, special events, trips and retreats, and parent meetings. Stewardship: Ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of youth programs, manage youth ministry budget, and collaborate with the sponsors of each Youth group. Ability to build, lead, and empower youth. Ability to implement a ministry vision. Familiarity with Lutheran Doctrine required; must be comfortable teaching it and representing Lutheran Theology. Proficient computer skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database, email, internet, and social media. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to adapt and evaluate curriculum preferred. Must have excellent organization, communication (verbal and written), and listening skills, with a high degree of initiative and accountability. Exceptional interpersonal and relational skills required, with sensitivity to church members and visitors. Understanding and enjoyment of youth and families and guiding their spiritual development. Jacqueline Nicole Grams and Thomas Stephen Dosch were united in marriage on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in the Grace Bible Church in College Station, Texas.

The bride is the daughter of Vernon and Claire Grams of Adkins. Jacqueline is the granddaughter of Valerie Grams of Adkins and the late Hubert Grams and the late H. Fred and Margie Ann Mandry, formerly of San Antonio.

The groom is the son of James and Holly Dosch of Houston. Thomas is the grandson of Murray and Mary Dosch of Vancouver, Wash., and Bob Jones and Shirley Jones of Tigard, Ore., and the late Richard Walker, formerly of Tigard.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Alexandra Michelle Grams of Adkins. Bridesmaids were Kyndall Mandry, Kaitlyn Mandry, Becky Dosch, Emily Esparza, Shelley Deschan, Amy Littlepage, Kristen Dosch, Bethany Flanders, and Lauren Cantrell.

The groom’s brothers, Tim Dosch and John Dosch of Houston, served as best men. Groomsmen were Garrett Grams of Adkins, brother of the bride, and Raul Esparza, Eric Littlepage, Eric Deschan, Wesley Gilmore, Cameron Harp, Andrew Segers, Thomas Alleman, and Adam Perry.

The bride wore a strapless, lace and jeweled bustled Doreen gown designed by Maggie Sottero.

Jacqueline received a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts from Texas A&M University in May. Thomas received a Bachelor of Business in finance from Texas A&M University in May. The couple both work in Houston.

The couple now reside together in Houston.
