FLORESVILLE -- We’re only a few weeks away from an outright motorsports cyclone hitting the San Antonio area, as The Off-Road Championship, a.k.a. the “TRAXXAS TORC Series,” gets set for two full days of racing action Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 15-16, at Cycle Ranch MX Park in Floresville.

Side-by-side four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive dirt-churning, fiberglass-shredding, airborne truck racing action -- the exact same racing featured on the critically acclaimed Discovery HD Theater channel coverage of the series -- will no doubt give the motorsports enthusiast in the region a serious return on their entertainment dollar!

The event will feature the nation’s premier off-road drivers, including former AMA Supercross champion Rick “R.J.” Johnson; off-road legends Johnny Greaves, Rob MacCachren, and Scott Douglas; and Texas’ own Andrew Caddell, Mike Jenkins, and Mark Jenkins.

Gates open at 10 a.m. each day, and tickets will be $25 for a single day, or $40 for a two-day pass. Admission is free to those 6 and younger, as well as to those 65 and older. All tickets include a “pro pit area” pass so spectators can get close to all the drivers for autographs.

For more information or to buy advance tickets, visit www.torcseries.com.
