East Central High School will hold its annual Homecoming Extravaganza Friday, Oct. 14, in conjunction with a KENS-5 Tailgate Party at the East Central High School campus. The Extravaganza is part of the pregame festivities that will be held in the kiosk area of the high school campus prior to the start of the homecoming activities.

Extravaganza activities will begin at 4:15 p.m. with Joe Reinagel and KENS-5 broadcasting live on the 5 and 6 p.m. news. Mission Tortillas and Johnsonville Sausage are sponsoring the event. Sausage wraps and drinks will be available, along with a variety of other food and drinks. Clubs from campus will offer nachos, hot dogs, Frito pies, snow cones, sodas, Gatorades, candy, chips, and more.

The East Central Art Club will be offering face painting for those wanting to get some spirit. A dunking booth with a group of teachers and administrators will also be available to offer a splash of fun. H-E-Buddy will make an appearance from the La Vernia H-E-B.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to go and support the Hornets during this year’s event.

For more information, call Ray Pieniazek at 210-581-1185 or e-mail ray.pieniazek@fc.ecisd.net.
