Must be willing to perform physical work in an outside environment and work 10-12 hour shifts including overtime. Must be willing to work some weekend and night shifts. The La Vernia FFA Chapter and ag classes are hosting a fund-raiser from Friday, Oct. 7, until Friday, Oct. 21. The FFA members will once again be offering products from “DJ’s Fund Raising of Texas.”

These products include pork sausage roll or patties, smoked and peppered bacon, sausage biscuits with egg and cheese, pigs ’n a blanket, home style chicken, beef, or chicken fajitas, hickory smoked turkey, and hickory smoked spiral cut ham.

New products this year include smoked brisket and peppered turkey breast.

Students will be rewarded by having their names placed in a drawing each time they sell a certain amount of items and the proceeds will be used toward the banquet scheduled for May in addition to other chapter expenses.

The La Vernia FFA Chapter would really appreciate the support of the community.
