Help Wanted

Very part-time help needed to feed cats, chickens, and horses, Monday-Friday, 2 times per day, morning after dawn but before 9 a.m. for approx. 30-45 minutes and p.m. before dark (summer about 6-8 p.m., winter 4-5 p.m.) for approx. 60-90 minutes. Suitable for someone who lives near location, which is exactly halfway between New Berlin and La Vernia. No smoking and requires working in all weather conditions. Andrea Pitzalis is one of Floresville High School’s exchange students with Cultural Homestay International, staying in the home of host mother Nancy Koch. Andrea is from Sardinia, Italy, the main island of the Mediterranean. He is the son of Stefano and Antello Pitzalis.

He has a brother, Francesco. In Italy, Andrea loves to swim, fish, and go to the beach. He also loves to play the trumpet. Andrea has been playing the trumpet since he was 11. He enjoys jazz, classical, rock and blues music. When Andrea returns to Italy, he plans to finish high school and go to college to study architectural engineering.

In Floresville, Andrea plays the trumpet in the Mighty Tiger Band, and is on the tennis team. Andrea is enjoying his time in Floresville. He likes the many classes he can choose from at school, the friendly students and teachers, and the good food. He says this is going to be the best experience of his life.

Nikki De Leon will be escorting Andrea in the coronation. Nikki is the daughter of JoAnn Trinidad of Floresville and Juan De Leon of Crookston, Minn. Nikki loves dancing ballet. She first began to dance ballet in the sixth grade. After graduation, Nikki plans to attend A&M and major in biology.
