Sara Ortiz will represent the Floresville Volunteer Fire Department in the Peanut Festival. She is the daughter of Lorenzo and Yvonne Ortiz of Floresville.

Along with being the oldest of two younger sisters, Andrea and Hannah, she is the Tiger mascot on Friday nights, a Team ACTS member, and a former member of the Mighty Tiger Band and the Link Crew.

She plans to attend the University of the Incarnate Word and pursue a degree in nursing.

Jordan Bilano, the son of Henry and Isabel Bilano of Floresville, will be her escort. Jordan is a former member of the Tiger football team.

Sara would like to thank Jordan and his family for allowing him to escort her for this special event.
