Christabel Torres will represent the Floresville High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) Chapter 1 in the Peanut Festival Coronation and Parade. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Sara Estrada of Floresville. Christabel was born and raised in the Floresville community and is currently a senior at Floresville High School.

During her years in high school, Christabel has been involved in BPA and has competed each year in accounting at the regional and state levels. She has also been involved in the Spanish Club, the Red Cross, Yearbook, and Shattered Dreams.

This year, Christabel has added Pep Squad to help cheer on the Mighty Floresville Tigers each week. Christabel is a member of the Work Based Learning Program (Co-op), currently working with children in an after-school care program.

Christabel’s escort will be Christopher Dreager, the son of Ruth Hernandez of Floresville. Christopher also is a senior at Floresville High School.

She would like to thank Christopher for escorting her in the festivities and the Floresville Peanut Festival Association for the opportunity to represent BPA.
