Zeke Joseph Wiatrek is honored to announce that he has been chosen by Princess-elect Kailey Michelle Shoemaker to be her Prince in the 67th annual Floresville Peanut Festival Court of the Mystical Magical Universe. Zeke, the 17-year-old son of Joey and Kristen Wiatrek, has a younger sister, Zoey. His grandparents are Maurice and Rosalie Lloyd and Mary Jane Wiatrek. Zeke and his family are members of the Floresville United Methodist Church.

Zeke is a senior honor student at Floresville High School and will graduate in the spring. He is a member of the Floresville High School chapter of the National Honor Society and has been a proud member of the Mighty Tiger Band drumline, Floresville chapter of FFA, and the Bentwood 4-H Club, where he has served in numerous offices, including treasurer for the last three years. He has also worked for the Floresville Country Club for the last three years.

In addition to Zeke’s commitment to academics and extracurricular school activities and organizations, he has been committed to the Floresville United Methodist Church’s youth group and praise band. He has drummed for the Saturday Night Alive service for the last four years. He has participated in mission trips and other activities to serve others through the church as well as other organizations such as the FFA, the 4-H Club, and the Leo Club.

Zeke extends his utmost gratitude to Kailey for the honor of being her escort and representing his community. He thanks his seamstress, Marietta Matheaus, for her ethereal talents, and the love and care she put into creating his sash.

Zeke thanks his family for their love and support in providing him this opportunity and would also like to thank the Peanut Festival Association and all the court parents for their support and help.
