Albert Flores will serve as the Peanut Festival Parade grand marshal this year.

He grew up in San Antonio and attended schools in the Harlandale Independent School District. He went to the University of Texas at Austin on a full scholarship and received his journalism degree. A few years later, he received his meteorology certification from Mississippi State. Flores has worked as a Chief Meteorologist in Austin at KTBC, in the Valley at KRGV, in Corpus Christi at KIII, and at KENS-5 in San Antonio.

Flores is married and has two children and four grandchildren. He loves to spend time with his family and travel. He is very involved in the community and serves on several boards of directors of nonprofit organizations.

As the morning meteorologist for WOAI, his goal is to give you something to smile about and feel informed every time you tune in. You can contact Albert at
