A number of streets in the downtown Floresville area will close for Peanut Festival activities, including the parades, carnival, and street dances. A number of streets will be closed for the Peanut Festival Parade, which will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and follow the traditional route. Judging of floats will start at 8:30 a.m. Spectators from all over Texas will come out to find a spot to watch this exciting, small-town parade.  . . .
