ON-CALL CRISIS POOL WORKERS NEEDED. Part-time positions are available for after hours “on-call” crisis workers to respond to mental health crisis for Wilson and Karnes Counties. Duties include crisis interventions, assessments, referrals to stabilization services, and referrals for involuntary treatment services according to the Texas Mental Health Laws. You must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, etc. On-call hours are from 5 p.m.-8 a.m. weekdays, weekends and holidays vary. If selected, you must attend required training and must be able to report to designated safe sites within 1 hour of request for assessment. Clara Christine (Aniol) Pieniazek, born in Adkins, Texas, on June 9, 1925, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at the age of 86.

Clara retired from Fine Silver Manufacture and was a lifetime member of the Mesquite Trail Riders.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Frank Pieniazek; her parents, Theodore and Wilhelmina (Tudyk) Aniol; her son, Teddy Pieniazek; and a brother, Alphonse Al Aniol.

Survivors include her loving sons, Earnest Pieniazek and wife Linda and Fred Pieniazek and wife Erma Lee; her daughter-in-law, Sandi Martin and husband Mike; four grandchildren, Justin, Randy, Kimberly, and Christy; numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. in the Dellcrest Funeral Home in San Antonio, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in San Antonio.

Interment followed in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in St. Hedwig.
