Isabella Alvarez performed in the “Tales of Beatrix Potter” as a hedgehog, duck, and Good Ship Lollipop Tap 1 during the Texas Academy of Ballet’s presentation “Spring Tales” at Hendrickson High School Performing Arts Center in Pflugerville on May 21. Isabella performed with her group, Isabella Dudley, Davianna John, Olivia Osborn, Emma Sheffield, and Gracen Pizzitola.

Isabella, the daughter of Jonas and Sandy Alvarez of Pflugerville, is student council representative for the first grade and studies piano. She has a sister, Gabriella, who attends Lutheran pre-school.

In attendance were her grandparents, Jonas and Olga Alvarez of Floresville, Charles and Diane Johnson of Whittier, Calif., Dr. James Epperson, Dr. Minerva Epperson, Nicholas Epper-son of Arlington, and Mary, David, and Ashton Carrasco of Floresville.
