County food show, challenge coming

The Wilson County Food Show is set for Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Stockdale Elementary School Cafeteria.

Entries are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, with final choice deadline set for Thursday, Oct. 20, at 5 p.m.

The Nutrition Community Service theme will be “Drawing the Bridge on Hunger.”

All participants are asked to take items for the local food banks.

The Wilson County Food Challenge is set for Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Floresville High School Food Lab in Floresville.

Deadline for submission of team and members is Thursday, Nov. 3.
