Must demonstrate written and presentation communication skills. John Alan Rice passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2011. He was born July 9, 1948, to Mary Alexander and Ralph M. Rice Sr. in New Braunfels, Texas.

John was a graduate of Devine High School, Trinity University, and the University of Arizona. He was a former teacher, artist, and historian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by his brothers, Ralph M. Rice Jr. and wife Larrine and Charles A. Rice and wife Bonnie; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

No funeral service is planned.
