Charles Sanford Chesterman passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, in Floresville, Texas, at the age of 88 years and 11 months. He was born Nov. 7, 1922, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Charles E. and Mary Chesterman.

He was a former resident of San Antonio and a resident of the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville for two years.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Eula Foster Chesterman.

The immediate family met Friday, Oct. 7, in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.

Inurnment will take place Monday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
